This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from you in establishing a registration to the Initsys online helpdesk found at help.initsys.net.
We use your Personal Information only for the creation of a login to be used as a method of gaining access to the helpdesk and as a way of informing you of responses to a ticket you have raised (or are connected to) and any change of status of tickets you are connected to.
Information Collection and Use.
Information we store is used to contact you as the original creator or collaborator on support tickets raised at help.initsys.net. Mandatory personally identifiable information will include your name, a unique username, password, and your Email address. Additional, optional information requested for your user profile will include your address, Telephone number - mobile or home, and your Date of Birth.
At no stage in your registration process or after your registration has been approved will any member of the Initsys team know, or store, your password. A password recovery feature on the helpdesk will be available to all users.
Your information will be used only to establish access to the helpdesk as a username and password, and your E-mail address will be used to contact you directly in the event that a response to a ticket has been made or that the status of your ticket has changed.
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Right of removal.
You have the right of removal from helpdesk on request, but it must be accepted that access to the helpdesk will be lost if such a request is made. Initsys will permanently remove and delete all personal data from the back office of its helpdesk in accordance with all UK data protection laws.
If a decision is made to terminate your user account by Initsys, all data will be removed and deleted in accordance with UK data protection laws.
Depending on the nature of the account termination on the helpdesk, some tickets that may remain viewable to Initsys employees or employees of your company may retain your name. These will not be accessible to the general public or by anyone without the correct authority to do so.
This Privacy Notice is effective as of April 2020. It will remain in effect except concerning any changes in its provisions in the future.
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Notice at any time, and you should check this Privacy Notice periodically.
If you are concerned by anything you are asked to provide or by anything mentioned in this Privacy Notice, then please seek further information from your HR department. Any continued use of the helpdesk following any revisions to this Notice will be viewed as acceptance.
