Crisis input is primarily a touch screen application used for sending alarms to Merlin manually when there is no automated method available. It has a simple to use interface which allows the user to click a series of buttons, and then send the alarm to Merlin. Crisis input terminals are easily configured by creating buttons with XML data in the back office application, and then clicking those buttons in the front end application.
